Vasilios Tzortzis is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Florence (1990) and PhD of the Medical School of AUTh (2003). He pursued his Residency Training in Urology at the Department of Urinary Organs of AUTh, and at the Urology Department of the "Gregorio Maranon" University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. After receiving his Specialty Degree, he dealt with Clinical Urology at the Urology Department of AUTh and at the Urology Department of the University of Thessaly. He is currently an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Thessaly. He is in charge of the Urooncological Clinic at the Urology Department of the University Hospital of Larissa.
He is a Member of a number of Greek and foreign Scientific Societies, Fellow of the European Board of Urology and Reviewer in international and Greek magazines. He has authored a great number of works published in international and Greek journals or books.
