ACADEMIC STUDIES:
1979: Medical Degree, University of Bologna, Italy
1985: Specialty Degree in Anatomical Pathology (Clinical Laboratory, ‘Evangelismos’ Hospital).
1988: PhD, Medical School, University of Athens

She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1979. She did her Residency and got her Specialty Degree in Anatomical Pathology in the Clinical Laboratory of the ‘Evangelismos’ Hospital in 1985.
She has worked as a Special Pathologist at the ‘Ygeia’ Therapeutic Center, Athens.
In 1986, she was appointed as  Registrar B’ at the Pathology Laboratory of the General Hospital of Kavala, and in 1987 at the Pathology Laboratory of the ‘G. Gennimatas’ General Hospital of Thessaloniki where she has been working until today.
