POSTGRADUATE TRAINING:
Fellowship in Endourology - Urinary Lithiasis, Glickman Urological Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, USA.
He worked for four years as a Registrar of the Urology Department of 401 General Military Hospital in Athens, and served for one year as the Head of the Urology Department at the 492 Military Hospital of Alexandroupolis. Since 2005, he has been serving as a full Member of the Teaching and Research Academic Staff & Clinician at the Urology Department of the Democritus University of Thrace. He has received a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation, and has been a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (EBU) since 1999. Since 2004, he has been a Member of the Examination Committee of the European Board of Urology, and since 2017 a Member of the SoutHeastern Group for Urolithiasis Research (SEGUR).
He has authored more than 80 articles published in international and Greek medical journals, given 92 lectures as an Invited Speaker at Conferences and Scientific Meetings, and participated in more than 10 live surgeries. He is a Paper Reviewer in 17 International and 2 Greek Scientific Journals.
