He got his Medical Degree from AUTh (2001), completed his Residency in Urology (2010) and his Ph.D. (2027) at the 1st University Department of AUTh. He pursued his postgraduated training for two years at the AMC University Department in Amsterdam, Netherlands (2011, 2012) as a Registrar (salaried staff member). He is a Member of the Hellenic, European and American Associations of Urology. He participates as a Reviewer in highly recognized scientific journals, such as “Journal of Urology”, “BJUI”, “Journal of Endourology” and “Urology” (Certificate of Outstanding Review in 2017). Since 2015, he has been an Academic Fellow in the 1st Urology Department of AUTh. He is the Chief Coordinator of the Endourology Unit of the 1st Urology Department, (locum) Consultant in the UK (NHS FIFE) with Revalidation in 2018. He has his private clinic in Thessaloniki, where he performs over 400 surgical procedures per year.
He has published 21 foreign-language papers in Pubmed journals, and received more than 230 citations. He has co-authored 2 chapters in foreign-language books, and has given more than 50 lectures as an Invited Speaker in Greece and abroad.
